YOUNG ELECTRIC SIGN COMPANY This is a new contract to provide more opportunity for individuals to participate in the apprenticeship program; meet crane operator certification requirements; establish a curriculum for use of a computerized engraving system; conduct a computerized engraving system course; and allow employees to participate in courses and learning activities that will enable them to become certified and/or licensed in their particular areas of employment, resulting in job retention. $42,236.00

YOUNG ELECTRIC SIGN COMPANY This is a new contract to provide LEAN (creating more values for customers with less resources) manufacturing training principles to incumbent workers for the purpose of eliminating waste and improving production; establish a curriculum based upon company training requirements; provide training in 5S theory and practice; and enable employees to become more efficient resulting in improved work performance, job retention and increased earnings. $113,000.00

SOUTHERN NEVADA WORKFORCE This is a new contract to provide Southern Nevada Workforce Investment Board (SNWIB) incentive funds authorized under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998, CFR part 652 et al. Governor's Reserve funds, approved by the State Workforce Investment Board on September 23, 2009, for technical assistance and capacity building activities. $11,025.00
57. SOUTHERN NEVADA WORKFORCE This is an amendment to the original contract, which provides employment and training services for adults under the Workforce Investment Act. This amendment increases the maximum amount from $3,586,268 to $6,031,151 due to an increased number of adults requesting employment and training services. $2,444,883.00
58. SOUTHERN NEVADA WORKFORCE This is an amendment to the original contract, which provides employment and training services for dislocated workers under the Workforce Investment Act. This amendment decreases the maximum amount from $6,112,208 to $3,667,325 due to additional funds needed to support the adult program under the Workforce Investment Act. ($2,444,883.00)

SOUTHERN NEVADA WORKFORCE This is an amendment to the original interlocal contract, which provides employment and training services to dislocated workers in Southern Nevada as required by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA): CFR Part 652 et al. with funding allocated under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This amendment decreases the maximum contract amount from $8,251,361 to $5,775,953 due to additional funds needed to support the adult program under the Workforce Investment Act. ($2,475,408.00)

SOUTHERN NEVADA WORKFORCE This is an amendment to the original interlocal contract, which provides employment and training services to adults in Southern Nevada as required by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA): CFR Part 652 et al. with funding allocated under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. This amendment increases the maximum contract amount from $2,042,856 to $4,518,264 due to an increased number of adults requesting employment and training services. $2,475,408.00

SIGN LANGUAGE COMMUNICATION This is an amendment to the original contract, which provides American Sign Language for the clients, employees, board members, council members, or consumers, who are deaf or hearing impaired or unable to understand the languages for meetings, conferences as needed. This amendment increases the maximum amount from $9,500 to $34,500 due to increased usage. $25,000.00
62. HOMETOWN HEALTH PROVIDERS This is a new contract to provide a statewide Nevada medical preferred provider organization (PPO). $4,850,000.00
63. LORYLYNN LTD. This is a new contract to provide executive director services and board administration for the Board of Occupational Therapy. $330,000.00
MSA 1. PAUL ROEN COMPANY This is a new contract to reduce fire fuels in various locations throughout the State. This contract is awarded for: Scope 3, Forestry Equipment; Scope 6, Hauling Services; and Scope 9, Road Construction/Maintenance/Rehabilitation. $3,625,000.00
MSA 2. THE REMI GROUP This is a new contract to provide the outsourcing of equipment maintenance management services. The outsourcing of these services is a cost reduction initiative in which the Contractor will cover the state agencies' equipment with insurance. $5,000,000.00
